Information you provide
You create an account with your first name, last name, and password. Godclass stores your names, a unique account identifier, a salted password hash, and revocable sign-in sessions. No email verification is required. Godclass stores your display name, optional profile image, bio, interests, preferences, and the community content you choose to create.
Bible reading
Godclass offers KJV, NKJV, and NLT reading options inside the site. KJV text is served from Godclass. NLT chapter requests may go to Tyndale, its publisher. When API.Bible access is enabled, that provider receives chapter requests and uses anonymous device and session identifiers for required Scripture usage reporting. Godclass does not send your journal, prayer content, email, or member identifier with Bible requests.
Who can see what
Display names, optional images, bios, and interests may be shown to members in group spaces. Personal prayers, attached Scripture, testimonies, journal entries, and highlights are available only to their owner through the application.
Questions and leadership support
Private questions, answers, care requests, contact preferences, and care conversations are available to the requesting member and authorized administrators. Leadership may keep internal follow-up notes. Those notes are not shown in the member conversation or member export. A question and its answer are published publicly only when the member allows sharing and an administrator publishes them. Members can revoke sharing or delete the question.
Prayer partnerships
Member-to-member messaging and new matching are paused. Historical preferences and messages remain attached to the appropriate accounts. Deleting either partner’s account removes the partnership and its shared thread. Operational storage access has the limits described below.
Gratitude Garden and Bible games
Games and gratitude activities are paused. Historical records are preserved. Earlier Gratitude Garden flowers link to private journal entries. Editing a note in My Journal updates the same note shown in the garden. Removing a flower keeps its journal note; deleting the journal entry removes its flower. Trivia rounds and unfinished verse layouts stay on the current screen and are not posted to the community. Completed verse puzzles are saved privately to the member’s account so each category can resume later. Saving a practice verse stores it in the member’s existing private memory collection.
Memory practice, recordings, and attendance
Memory verses, self-rated practice history, and review dates belong to the member’s account. Authenticated members can search subtitles of published recordings and open matching timestamps. Administrators can record attendance for registered gathering members and download attendance lists. Private care content and prayer-partner messages are excluded from community search.
Optional giving
Giving is optional. The Giving page uses Godclass’s configured payment provider’s checkout, which may be embedded on Godclass. That provider processes payment information and issues its confirmations under its own terms. Godclass’s own forms do not collect card numbers or bank details.
Storage and operational access
Records are stored using the hosting platform’s database; optional profile images use its object storage. Journal titles, writing, tags, and attached Scripture use authenticated AES-256-GCM encryption before database storage, with encryption keys held separately in runtime secrets. Encrypted recovery copies use private object storage. This is not end-to-end encryption. Hosting and authorized operational personnel with service and key access may have infrastructure access. Godclass does not promise zero-access storage or a specific compliance certification.
Cookies and preferences
Godclass uses secure, revocable session cookies. Godclass uses a local sidebar preference. Recoverable journal drafts use encrypted browser storage and a non-exportable device key; same-origin code access is still trusted. Older session drafts are migrated when opened. Drafts are cleared after a confirmed save or sign-out. If device storage is unavailable, drafts stay in memory until saved. Private pages and responses request no indexing and private cache handling.
Export and deletion
Use Settings to download your profile, journals, own prayer requests, memberships, progress, bookmarks, registrations, questions, care conversations, prayer-partner preferences and shared messages, memory practice, and attendance records. Deleted journal entries move to a private recovery area and can be restored. Saved journal versions are kept as encrypted recovery copies until the account is deleted; encryption does not prevent every form of data loss. Delete individual prayer records in their views. Deleting your Godclass profile removes your stored member records and authored content from the application, and removes its profile image. Your sign-in account and active sessions are deleted when you delete your Godclass profile. Infrastructure backups are controlled by the hosting provider; no backup purge timetable is promised.
Messages and notifications
Contact messages sent after sign-in are stored in the administrator inbox. Notifications are in-app only and can be disabled. Email and push delivery are not connected.
Questions and changes
Use Contact to reach the administrator inbox. This draft should be updated by the owner as operational practices, retention rules, or service configuration change.
